PRESCHOOL PROMISE
TELC is proud to be a participating center offering Preschool Promise to the Tillamook Community.  
Families up to 200% of the poverty line will be eligible for free preschool in participating programs.

DISCOVERY PRESCHOOL
We provide an excellent program for children ages 18 months to 3 years, focusing on individuality, thoughtful environmental design, age appropriate activities, while supporting the child's well being. 

Ages 18 months to 3 years 
Ratio: 1 adult to 4 children

Schedule: Meals and naps are scheduled.
Meals: Served at tables with beginning instruction in manners.
Nap: One nap daily.
Skills:
circle time
rote alphabet
counting 1-10
pre-writing skills
sensory crafts
potty training (when ready)
handwashing


TELC is very passionate about providing developmentally appropriate Preschool and Pre-K curriculum alongside social emotional support and problem solving skill to children ages 3-5.   

PRESCHOOL
Ages 3-4 years
Ratio: 1 adult to 10 children

Schedule: Meals and single nap are scheduled, with pre-kindergarten students transitioning to a quiet rest time to build stamina for kindergarten
Meals:Served in the lunchroom with direct instruction and practice in independent serving skills and manners
Skills
Self-care - We continue to work with students on developing self-care skills. Potty training is not required.
Academic - We work closely with Tillamook School District 9 to ensure that our students have the necessary and academic and social skills to ensure a smooth transition into kindergarten.


PRE-K
  Ages 4-5 years
Ratio: 1 adult to 10 children
